Regular customers to our store know we are all about the kids. With our special comics section for kids 12 and younger, the table for little tykes in front of the cartoon-playing television, the coloring books and crayons, donations of comics to local schools/libraries, and the fact that we do not carry mature titles on our racks for the public, we do what we can to ensure the next generation will grow up with an appreciation of comics. And now, we are actually getting some assistance from a publisher.
This week, Marvel Comics announced the launch of a new website just for kids: http://www.marvelkids.com/. This site is simply terrific! We'll be posting a link to it from our homepage as well. We encourage readers of all ages to visit the site. There are many activities and digital comics throughout the site, and we just hope that Marvel keeps it going.
And yes, we know that DC also has a kids section at http://www.dccomics.com/dckids/, but they need to go through some updates to catch up the Marvel's site.
Anything the publishers can do to spread the comic love to children has our backing! Way to go!

Chuck...you forgot the best site of all for kids...www.archiecomics.com
Shawn, you are so right! I had forgotten all about it! Plus, they have their contest on there to have kids actually write a comic and have it published. I'll add it to the webpage right away!
